Apply First Aid (3-hour Express) (HLTFA301C) Training includes Express CPR training (2hours) as part of the course. If you know first aid we will assess you, not train you, in our Express version of the Apply First Aid course. You must provide 2 copies of past certificates in this course when attending this class.
We know how busy life can be and we also know that people who do first aid need it for their qualifications for their workplace. So we now offer the HLTFA301C Apply first aid Express 3 hour session for those of you who have done first aid many times before. This course is not for people who have never done this course before, and you will need a copy of your current certificate as proof of your knowledge. If you have never done this course before please book into a 5 hour practical, not this one.

This course is nationally accredited and there is online theory to do before the training session. If you know your first aid then you will be able to complete the 10 modules in less than 1 hour.

Topics that are covered in the course are the same in all Apply First Aid courses (previously known as Senior Level 2 first aid) however in the training session, your trainer will run through the DRS ABCD action plan & choking. It will then be up to you to show us what you know from all of your prior knowledge and the online theory assessment.
There is a short assessment at the end of the session and if all competencies are completed you will receive your certificate at the end of the session. Further information regarding the assessment can be viewed in the Learning and Assessment Strategy for the Unit of Competency.
